BURN THE SHORTCUT VIRUS..... WITH SIMPLE STEPS!

  Hello everyone,
Many of us are worried about the shortcut virus that damages all our folders. I followed these simple steps to get rid of the issue, so thought of sharing them with you all.

STEP1-
Click on "Start" -->Run --> type cmd and click on OK.

STEP2-
In the terminal/cmd just type the following code

                              attrib -h -r -s /s /d f:\*.*

Here "f" is the drive letter of your flash drive(replace it with your drive letter)

STEP3-
Now press enter the system scans for the affected files and deletes the virus alone. This will repair the drive and brings out the original data.

Update: The above piece of code worked in Windows XP and I didn't try this in the latest versions of windows.
